On December 16, 1960 (Friday), the two airplanes United Airlines Flight 826 and Trans World Airlines Flight 266 crashed in mid-air over New York City. The planes fall onto Staten Island and Park Slope (Brooklyn) killing all 128 people on both aircrafts and 6 people on the ground.
